Just saw this from yesterday:

I am so lucky to have Matt. My friend who rescued Bubba and Forrest and entrusted to my care, passed on Matt's name. He is wonderful and was so willing to learn to test the BG. He all ready knew how to shoot insulin as other pets he had are diabetic and they were not testing. Matt took back my info to them and one of them now test!

That is amazing! What a find for you and that is fantastic that he shared your techniques with another bean that is now home testing! Wow! Makes me smile. :)

Surf safely in the lagoon today Bubba!
Where are you going Bobbie?
We are going to San Antonio, TX first And while we are there we will tour Austin and go up into the Hill Country and explore. If we have time we might drive to the Gulf and check out Corpus Christie. I am so excited! I haven't been to TX since I was a little girl. Nervous about leaving Bubba and the gang , but we need this respite badly.

Sounds like a wonderful vacation!

You do know how big Texas is right?:p

My Aunt lived in Corpus for a while and I would drive up from the valley almost every weekend. It is a neat little town.

I never got to go out with them (Sonya and Erv) but did enjoy several beers with them. Every time we had it set up the weather didn't permit it. I didn't realize that Erv had passed.

If you have any questions let me know and I will try and help. How long are you going to be here?

Thanks for the link! And yes, I know that Texas is a Big A** state. We are going to be driving a lot checking it all out. I am so hoping to see the fields of Blue Bonnets in bloom. So, today one of my errands was to get a inflatable donut to sit on as I have issue with my coccyx bone ( you know you're getting old when you buy one of those, LOL )

We have one week. I think while we are in San Antonio for 4 nights we will explore that town and surrounding area and do Corpus Christie. When we leave there we are winging the next 3 nights in Austin/ Hill Country area. If we see a neat place to stay we'll stay. We do have to come back to SA to fly out of.

I love doing this type of road trips.

Little early but since it has been warm I guess it is possible.
I read that with warmer weather they can bloom as early as late Feb early March and we will be in that area early March. Fingers crossed. DH loves exploring too. Some of our best trips were done that way and not orchestrated very well, but rather roll with it.

Who is the actor?
This is me hijacking your thread LOL. Its Jensen Ackles, from supernatural.
