Gizmo is still refusing to eat. Vet opens in 1 hour. I’m calling to see if they can see him around the same time as the puppy’s appt. unfortunately the puppy is just seeing a vet tech for shots or I would just ask them to swap the appt for Gizmo. He is still up and about, purring and interested in food, just won’t eat it. He did take a few licks this morning. I had food out all night so he could have nibbled, but I don’t know for sure which kitty ate the food.

I shot 5 units this morning since 4 didn’t seem to do much over night. But I’m terrified of him dropping low and refusing to eat. :nailbiting:
 
I just remembered that I had some tiki cat velvet mousse in the cabinet. I put some on a plate (figured it wouldn’t hurt if he thought it was people food). And ... he ATE it! Got about one and a half ounces in him (about 1/2 pack). :)

We are going to hold off for now, but depending on how today goes ... might still end up taking him. I’m scheduling him an appt when I’m there for updated blood work and retesting for IGF-1. So he will be seen shortly anyways.
He just ate a little more.
+2 = 189 :eek:
 
Yay for eating. Has he pooped lately? That issue has an impact (pun intended) on my Gizmo.

Hope you can get him into the vet.
 
Got the rest of the tiki cat velvet mousse pouch in him by +3.
+4.5 = 79 (on 5 units!) :eek:
Gave 2 tsp MC food (devoured it and wanted more) to help slow the drop
 
Gizmo is doing much better tonight and his numbers are still decent. :cool: Think the civvie might have it now. She was getting a bit picky as the day went on. Or she could just be really full ... she did eat all of Gizmo’s food that he left when he wasn’t feeling well. :rolleyes:

Lol...my bet is civvie ate more than her share today, nice evening blues for Gizmo :cool:
 
Not sure what has gotten into Gizmo, but I’ll take the 97 at +4.25. I guess I’ll be getting up for a midnight check tonight.
