Good girl! She did a little dance after her PM shot with some low blues, but just couldn't cross over into the greens...maybe today.

Looks like Luci might be due for an increase again. I know it can be frustrating bouncing back and forth on a dose (Asia likes to do that too), but you’re not seeing any green.

Yes, we may have to consider that...I notice that her numbers are a tad lower than yesterday...if I need to increase will look for recommended dosage from the board.

If you do not see a green in either cycle today, I'd increase tomorrow.. Unless you see a flat yellow cycle, then I'd wait to see what happens in the next cycle and if nothing, then increase.

ok, I'm ready...will test ever 2-3 today - fingers crossed we get to a green...she was so close last night!

Well, Luci has touched on the blue zone - I sure hope she can find her way to a green today...just for a brief visit...I don't think she likes that color though for whatever reason - her tendency is to start to climb now until PMPS time...poor little girl...just can't find her way (or maybe it's her liver that's having the difficulty finding it's way)...nonetheless...I'm getting the impression that just a tad more insulin might be in order to help unlock those cell doors.

Just when I thought Luci was getting it together she goes on a soaring contest with herself - each time getting higher and higher this afternoon - I know her pattern is typical that she increases in the afternoon - but I've not seen this kind of increase...I guess tomorrow it's time to increase her dosage. Does anyone have a good dosage recommendation? Should I go back up to 1.75 or somewhere between 1.5 and 1.75 ?? The last time she was at 1.75 she had that big drop - makes me nervous but that was the only green she saw... poor Luci...

This early in the diabetic dance, we do 0.25u changes. The fattening and skinny-ing is more for long term diabetics.

Ok, unless I'm directed otherwise, I think tomorrow morning we will begin with 1.75 and then watch for changes - if it's anything like before it was on day four after the increase - I'll be extra diligent come Friday (and that's the day I have a dentist appointment...oh boy...)
