298! I’m thinking a little bounce from the greens yesterday, hope she comes back down today. Still no flinching at shot times, woohoo! Asia has been enjoying her new stairs and watching the olympics with us, she’s decided she can walk down them too instead of jump off the couch! :cat:

Looks like our heat is out again, hope they fix it soon.
 
Either that 67 yesterday was terrifying, or she was lower before that, which I will never know because none of us were home and I was running errands. Hope she got her fill of being an astronaut for the time being and back to something a little kinder to the kidneys soon. :cat:
 
Thinking about an increase in the am. Those +1 and +2 numbers are yellow if not pink, there’s a little too much high time on this dose. The fact that she’s bouncing so dramatically from a (probably) not very low green says to me she’s no longer used to being in green numbers.

I’m hesistent to increase .25 to 1 unit because she got as low as 67 on this dose, but moreso because this dose is so close to being good, but percentage wise, increasing from .75 to 1 unit is a much bigger deal than from 2 units to 2.25 and I haven’t had enough time with Lev to feel comfortable taking it up that much when it’s close to ideal. So my thought is an increase in between .75 and 1 unit, I would measure on my calipers, but call it a fat .75. Thoughts? @Wendy&Neko
 
Looks like at least a +13 nadir today. :cool: When i looked at Asia's SS and condo earlier today, I was thinking increase soon. Red doesn't belong in a good dose. The question of amount depends on your ability to monitor. Normally I would go up 0.25 units, but I know you've got a lot on your plate right now. :bighug: So a smaller increase might make sense. Depending of course what Asia has planned with that bounce breaking tonight. :cat:

Thanks, Wendy. Oh, I fully expect to see some greens tonight! Nadirs thus far have solidly been in the +6 to +8, which would make sense since they were a couple hours prior to that with Lantus. I think today was a freak occurrence nadir because of bounce breaking, she’s still going down after shot time and she’s been predictably (I can’t believe I’m even saying that in reference to a cat) having +3 onset. No clue why she bounced that high, she has so many other things going on I never know if it’s a panc issue or kidneys or pain influencing the numbers, or just a plain old Asia space mission. :confused:

I think I hesistate with a full increase because if she goes below 50, we are back to .75 which doesn’t quite cut it. I also like that this isn’t a roller coaster so far and I don’t want to push my luck, I’m still in shell shock from Lantus. Trying to get over that. :p
