2/12/18 - Luci - AMPS 308 - from yellow to pink

Someone once said if you get a high after a flat cycle, then that's your warning sign there could be activity. Not many cats are nice enough to give you that sign. :p
 
Luci seems to be doing well today - her numbers are indeed falling. She was 308 AMPS, 2+ 201, 3+ 177. Should I test every two hours or hourly? If this is the day she's going to get into the greens, wouldn't it be good to know exactly when that's happening? Or at least see if there's a reversal? Please advise.

Looks like she nadirs around +6, which means she will likely keep dropping until at least that point. Prudent to monitor more closely. Look at her cycles on the 1/21, 1/22, and 2/6 they all look similar to today so far. Also the pm cycle on 1/30 came after a flat yellow am cycle, not unlike the one you had last night.

I take it you will continue to test hourly. I'm so glad she's giving you some nice numbers today!! Now, Luci just needs to learn that she doesn't need to run away from the good numbers every time. :rolleyes:
 
Well, it looks like Luci is heading back uphill this afternoon - I'm going to skip the next hour and get another reading at +9. If she's continuing to climb the next BG will be PMPS. Will watch frequently tonight to see if she's going to drop into the greens then perhaps...

Luci just couldn't get out of the blues last night. I was up checking frequently. Maybe today?

Sure will...we haven't started or AMPS just yet...will do that shortly. I was just reporting our numbers from late last night...I'm never really sure where that goes...last night = yesterday? Or early a.m. hours belong on today?

You can put late night report on the AM thread. Those were some nice blues last night! :cool:
