Baby bounce for the furry potato yesterday, back to business today with any luck. She's giving me side eye this morning because she managed to step in her pee in the LB and get a nice caking of clumping litter on her back leg. This required a mini foot bath in the sink, she knows the drill, but isn't a fan of water plus the lathery goodness of cat shampoo.

I've gone back to every 12 hours for her bupe, want to see if it does well enough that way for her arthritis, I think we are over the hump as far as pancreatic and kidney pain for the time being and she is less offended that I only go in her mouth twice a day as opposed to three times.

Your foot bath story made me laugh! They do look so offended when we try to clean them up, don't they?
Asia....just one baby step away from the lagoon....go for it! :D

Haha, oh the clump of cat litter on the foot! And then if you don't notice it right away and it dries, you hear them "clicking" around like they have hooves  Sorry Asia, maybe don't step in your pee pee next time? :D

Even better, before it dried she left white clumpy pee pee cat litter paw prints all over the wood floor, so I got to see where she explored before bringing that mess to my bed this morning! Was planning to wash the sheets and duvet cover today anyway. :joyful:

A wet cat is such an undignified pathetic look, I understand, I just don’t get how they prefer to be dirty over looking like an otter for a few minutes, considering how fastidious they are over grooming. :joyful:

Gordy gets the cake paws too... he just lets me clean with my hand, no water. I know... its gross... I scrub my hands pretty good after LOL. But he purrs through it and even spreads his toes. He is such a little pampered brat, hahah

Hahaha! Sounds like a prince to me! Asia's been very sensitive about her hind legs since diabetes and arthritis, it wasn't just on her paw, but her whole lower leg, whatever would be their ankle joint down, I guess? No way it was coming off without water, it was a proper caking well into the fur. :p I have cat wipes, which are just like baby wipes, but for cats, I use those for light duty messes, this wasn't one of them.
