May the green be with you...

Just opened a new box of 100 syringes. They aren't marked by 0.5 units. Right now, that doesn't really matter, but that's still frustrating to me. Same brand, same gauge, same needle length. Now I know to look for the picture that shows the half units.

Freckles is on a mission...
She's got something up her sleeve...:D

*sigh* Freckles, you really need to stop these dives.

If you need to work hard to keep her safe today, I'd do the drop dose next. :D

+5 50 Going to try mixing gravy from the HC and see if it will bring her up more. She won't eat the HC alone or mixed with LC. Maybe she'll do just the gravy mixed in.

+10.5 65

Tomorrow I will be gone from AMPS +.75-4, possibly +5. We still had to prop her up today. Do I stick with 0.1 or go down to a drop? I'm guessing the answer will be stick with 0.1 for tonight and see what happens. What are your thoughts?

Waiting to see what PMPS is but considering the number of times you had to give Freckles syrup and/or gravy today and she's still in the 60s, I might be tempted to skip again and reduce down to a drop (press plunger, insert in insulin, release plunger, supposedly sucks up a micro drop) tomorrow morning.

See what +12 looks like but if my cat and not being able to monitor tomorrow I’d go to a drop tonight and see what the amps number is before deciding whether to skip in the morning. Others might have different opinions.

Yes, but if you release the plunger before withdrawing, the vacuum would suck back up the insulin.
So the way I did it was to push the plunger down hard, insert into insulin, release the plunger and it's supposed to suck up a drop. Oh....I see what you mean now! Inject cat, push plunger and keep it pushed down. AHHH! The light just came on
