She's gaining some weight - I weighed her yesterday and she's up about 1/2 a pound. She feels like her tummy is rounding out more than in the past weeks...acts happy and hungry...loves the ham! She gets a tiny piece chopped up...seems that everything is going well..still hoping to see more blues and greens and less yellows in the coming days.

That’s great news! Sounds like Luci is doing well.

I don’t know how much Luci weighs, but 1/2 a pound percentage wise in a cat is a good amount, so that’s really great news! Looks like the insulin is allowing her to properly use her food again. :)

You’re doing an excellent job with testing! :cat:

Seems like she’s pretty freaked out by those greens, it looks like she could do with an increase soon, maybe put a question in your title and see what others have to say.

Weight gain, happy demeanor, more cooperative with testing, Sue and George doing solo tests! Go team Florida!!! Once your back is truly sorted, you three will really be on the move! I'm so happy to see your progress! :bighug::bighug::joyful::cat::bighug::bighug:

I was concerned initially, but she started climbing back up at +1, by +4 she was back in the yellows...headed up :( By 10+ 310...bouncing I guess? We're still not into 'settling into the greens' yet...are we on the verge?
Yes, that's bouncing kitty 101! Their little bodies go "oh no, what's going on here?!". But the good news is that once the bounce clears kitty usually gets more acclimated to lower numbers. But it's a process and with Myagi took way more than just one bounce. Patience does usually get rewarded though - there is just no way to know how long you have to be patient though. ;):bighug:

Thanks for your encouraging words...it'll take what it'll take I guess. She's certainly feeling better! And that's important :) She's eating better and has gained a little weight - still holding between .3 and .6 gain since she's been on insulin. She's more playful and gets that crazy look in her eyes (meaning I'm ready to attack that BIRD)...moreso than a couple of weeks ago. As for me, I'm ready for a rest - but at least my back is getting better day by day with the help of a wonderful Chiropractor! I'm sure hoping she'll try on that green again soon...and maybe become more accustomed to the color - personally I think it suits her :cat::cat::cat::bighug::bighug:
