Just curious! You all have been an endless source of support and valuable information, so I am very interested to hear what you feed your sugar cats. The food chart has been such a blessing and I don't know where I would be without it (well...I would still be feeding my sugar cat high carb dry food, that's what!)

I just recently transitioned my kitty over to 100% LC wet food (he was previously on all dry food as he could not tolerate wet food without vomiting). Then he was on a mixture of wet and dry, and now he is all wet food! (Woo!)

At the start, I purchased one of ever LC wet food that was on the food chart that had carbs of 0-2. I wasn't sure which kind he would like or tolerate. Thankfully, he liked and tolerated every single one! It became a bit of a hassle to buy a variety of food (spending an hour or so in Petco each time...) so I started to exclusively buy Tiki. He loves it, I love it...but it's a bit pricey and getting even pricier now that I no longer mix it with dry food.

I heard mention of Soulistic being affordable...I have bought that for him before but can't remember the price. I usually buy in bulk from Chewy.com in order to save a bit of $$.

I've fed 9Lives since the beginning. He gets FF for snacks and the occasional friskies. He's doing great on it but it's mostly a financial decision. If I could afford the expensive kind he would get that. But I have 2 cats on wet and a dog on a grain free dry. My civvie won't eat anything but friskies. Oh and a husband to feed too! LOL

the only 'low carb' wetfood my tux likes and that i am okay with him eating everyday is Fancy Feast classic turkey & giblet, as long as i make it soupy that is. monday and thursday's he is allowed to have one 3oz can of Only Natural Pet's Wild Ocean Delight, he prefers that the best but, can't have him eating fish everyday..

He was way underweight when he got diagnosed so we also fed YA/Evo low carb dry foods, he gained all his weight back already plus a little more but, since the dry isn't effecting his BG by much and we have 9 other cats to feed, we still allow him to free feed on low carb dry, currently mostly wysong espigen 90 (5% carbs).

i wish he liked better non-by product brands but, like our other cats, he is super picky at what brand and flavor he will eat.
