9U seems a good dose for her. But I sure would like to know why her needs keep climbing. I know she needs a dental, but I can't afford it until maybe May.
This morning I found a swollen ear plug sitting in a pool of clear, liquid vomit atop her feeder. And she wasn't hungry at all. No wonder. By the time it swelled up in her stomach, the earplug grew huge .
So I gave her some cerenea, and now she's back to eating well.

???I know the acro makes her insanely hungry, but my ear plug? :(

????By the way, does the hunger occur because she's growing new and unnecessary tissue and boney mater? I ask, because she hasn't gained any weight at all over the last 3 years of eating twice what she used to eat.????

Neko preferred "real" food products. Muffins, baguettes, banana bread, bread starter. Not good for a cat that reacted poorly to wheat. :p

Neko's weight didn't change much, though she stayed on mostly the same amount of food. But I could feel bony growth changes and there were some soft tissue changes. Think of teenage boys and what happens with the extra growth spurts. Hungry all the time. Is TiTi's body condition still the same? Neko got some more muscle in her front half. Growth hormones and IGF-1 are important factors in muscle growth too. Some acros get a pot belly.

Ahhh. TiTi could live happily on Neko's preferences.:cat:
I do notice that TITI's spine is prominent and bony. Her sides protrude like 2 round pouches, until she finally poops, whereupon she looks normal again. Her under jaw is protruding, making it more difficult for her to eat, but she prevails. Her under jaw tends to push the food out of the dish. Of course, I put it back into the dish. None of my other cats have this problem. I tried pushing out my own jaw, and then tried to eat - it was significantly more difficult, and I have 2 hands to help me.

TiTi always was a big eater, but now it's just like those teenage boys you mentioned. and she remains the same weight since May 22nd 2014, when she was diagnosed diabetic. Yet she's eating more than before.

I think there are changes in her legs and hips, because she moves more carefully than before.
And this is weird - underneath her front paws' claws, she has another set of claws. This 2nd set is somewhat rudimentary, but complete. It's danged weird.
