Miss China's been being really good the last couple of days! Wonder what she's up to???

Been a busy couple of days here with pain clinic yesterday and taking DM to physical therapy and then to get a perm today .....and then there's my computer!!...Ever since the last Winblows update, it keeps shutting off and won't load Winblows (which makes it pretty useless)

I'm on the rental tonight....had thought I'd "fixed" mine and was going to return this one tomorrow, but right as it was too late to get mine to the shop, it went down again so now I'll have to wait until Monday.

Oh well....was really hoping I'd figured out it's problem last week with the WiFi driver, but I guess not!

Hi Chris - I'm a computer and security dude. For my clients, I recommended waiting on recent updates due to the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities. There have been reports of
- slowness
- frequent reboots

Since Winblows is mysterious to even us (computer geeks), it may be unrelated. It could also be a hardware issue, since those occur as well.

@Chris & China do you have link to where that beast is you sent me???? Lol. Magnificent.

My pc died last Thursday. Gave up on Windows, got a Mac. Still figuring it out. I did seem to loose some functions on all my devices. Found out from my internet/cable provider a fios line was cut in Indiana (I'm in PA) so wherever that line feeds was affected. It's working now. Send me what info you have.
