Maverick had a great day a few days ago, it was nice to see a return to greens. And, I'm trying to not pay too much attention to the bouncy, higher numbers when we get them, since he's been his usual happy, playful self. I found an old spongy ball under the dresser, which apparently is his new favourite toy. He's been batting it around, and chasing it up and down the hallway since we rediscovered it.

OT, my drooler has congenital cataracts :(, he's still young, looks like they are progressing, his vision isn't great, so between dealing with that and Mav with his diabetes journey, I've sure got my hands full. Sorry that I haven't been able to check in with everyone as much as I used to.

I am sure Mav batting the ball around the house put a smile on your face :)
Thanks, Paul, and yes, it sure does, watching him play like that actually makes me laugh, he leaps after it, and crouches in his stalking mode with his "pounce face", and big bright eyes. Mav really loves it, and so do I, except when it's around 4:00 a.m.

I'm glad Mav is feeling so good. Sorry about your drooler. Is there something the vet can do? :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Carla, it's definitely easier to look past any stinky pinkies we get when Mav is bouncing down the hallway like a youngster :p. I've been to a specialist with the drooler, cataract eye surgery is the only option, unfortunately.

Speaking of stinky pinkies, Mav's PMPS is 326, he must have lost his duration today, I did feed him at +4.65, but I'm guessing his nadir was a bit closer to the +3.5 today.
