When our felines are sick with am infection is it possible that their BS drops? I think it's common for it to rise.

Gracie hasn't had insulin in several days. She had some last night, but I think that might have been done in error due to a wrong read.

Her BS is hanging out in the 40's ish. Then It'll pick to 60-70 after she eats.

I think she's sick, but I'm not sure. Full of sneezes and nothing in our environment had changed.
GI stuff is normal, at least it appears. Lots more sleeping, and away from me. Normally she'll sleep, but she'll sleep near me on the table, the couch, or the floor.

I picked her up to eat and she ate. If she's hungry why wouldn't she go eat on her own. Sigh....

It could be that I'm being dramatic; nonetheless, it concerns me some.

In regards to appetite . . . I'm getting ready to leave right now. I'll be home most of tomorrow and all weekend. If her appetite doesn't improve I'll call my vet tomorrow to see if my vet can see her Saturday, or early next week.

Almost wondering if I should just make the appointment now and cancel if needed.
 
Don't wait that long to get her seen if she isn't eating. Cats can't go very long without food before they develop fatty liver (hepatic lipidosis) which is dangerous. If she isn't eating in the morning, I would get her seen tomorrow. Also, the sneezing sounds like she might have a respiratory infection or allergies. If a cat can't smell well, they won't eat. So in the morning, try heating up her food just a little to make the smell stronger. You can also try sprinkling cheap parmesan cheese on her food (doesn't work with my cats, but lots of people around here swear by it). If neither of those work, then off to the vet. And even if they do work, if she's still sneezing, or if you see discharge from eyes or nose, she'll likely need to be seen so they can take care of the infection.
 
If she doesn't eat in the AM I will call and get her in the same day, or just walk in with her freaking out. Hahaha. Ok, I won't freak out.

Good idea on heating up the food! I will do that.

How much time should I give for the sneezing if no discharge from nose or eyes?

Another thought: Could it be she is associating her ear prick with food? I guess there are a few different scenarios. I moved her food tonight--not sure if that was a smart move, but my thought process was maybe if she doesn't feel well--it'll take less energy to jump on a chair and to the counter.
 
Could be aversion, but given the sneezing, I think illness is the more likely culprit. If she eats well this morning, I would call the vet and ask about how to manage her sniffles - it’s not something I know much about. Hope she’s feeling better soon!

I'd suggest a vet check-up to be on the safe side, especially because of the lethargy/withdrawal clinical signs.

One of the things that might be worth checking is whether there are any signs of respiratory tract issues; cats tend to go off food if if they can't smell it properly. Might also be a good idea for the vet to check her pancreas and general GI health. (I've seen some cats develop GI/pancreas issues shortly after cessation of insulin treatment.) Keep an eye out for any clinical signs of nausea:

I know that you mentioned no changes in the environment but it's worth keeping an eye on batch numbers of her regular food. There can be variations and sometimes a given batch might cause GI upsets.

I came home to one of her dishes (I left 2 bowls full of wet food) mostly ate. There was leftovers on the side of the dish that I'm guessing is harder to eat. She didn't touch her other bowl. She greeted me today though. Jumped up on the counter. Ate pretty instantly after BS test.

But still the sniffles continue. I called the vet just a few minutes ago. They are going to have the vet call me later today.

I think something is going on though whether it be allergies or an infection. She was trying to get in her nose with her paw.

Yep. Some vets offer an on-the-spot SNAP fPL blood test which will give an instant yes/no indicator for pancreatic inflammation. To determine the degree of inflammation blood needs to be sent out for a Spec fPL test, which returns a numerical result indicative of severity of inflammation. Ultrasound scans can further reinforce a provisional pancreatitis Dx.
