It's been 2 years today since Cass's last inulin shot. His BG was 51 a few minutes ago. Still fat (not really) & sassy. He's adjusting to being an only cat; still very much a lap cat.

This board made a big difference. He went from 3x a day to tigger to OTJ. It took almost 3 years-but it can happen. Be patient & enjoy the signs of a happy cat along the way. Thanks.

Hi Lisa and Cass. Good to see you and happy anniversary! I use you two all the time as an example of hanging through the bounces and being patient. Cass was our all time bouncer for a while but some kitties here now will threaten his legacy. :p

Today marks Cass's 3 year OTJ anniversary. He celebrated with freeze dried chicken & a BG of 74.

He's 17 now, and in the beginning stages of kidney failure, but other than drinking (& peeing) a lit more, he's doing fine. Still very much a lap cat.

If you're dancing the sugar dance, hang in there. Never give up hope, & rejoice in signs of your happy sugar kitty.

You give hope to all of us! :D:bighug:

Great to “see” you again Lisa! And glad to hear Cass is staying OTJ. We still use him as an example for those super bouncing kitties we see.
