My apologies for not responding yesterday. I do hesitate to post when I won't be around to respond but did want to answer your initial inquiry yesterday morning. Hopefully Myagi will keep it on the lower floors. Glad to hear he's eating well too. In regards to the tongue sticking out....I'd watch that and make sure there's no open mouth breathing. Along with lack of appy, any open mouth breathing would warrant a heart check. Granted, I'm paranoid of heart, tongue out etc. because that's what ultimately took my Doodles.

My heart to yours 're Doodles - I lost Millie's brother Monticello to an undiagnosed congenital heart defect when he was 10 (only kitty i haven't had beyond 16 years) and it broke my heart.
He isn't mouth breathing but that tongue did freak me yesterday. I will keep an eye for those signs and thank you so much sharing, especially through your sadness. Much love and gratitude for helping my Myagi!:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

He's changing his dance steps or I missed his nadir today. Usually by now going back up. Hope I didn't miss a pretty green! Not complaining though - He looks handsome in blue! :cool:

Just checking in :)

I saw a 0.25f on his SS for yesterday morning and wondered if the 400 caused a little panic :smuggrin:? It’s happened to all of us at least once :):)

Karen called it right that it was the high before the break.

Remember two things:
  • When faced with a high PS, take a deep breath and look at his nadirs and his patterns; try to resist panic increases. Lantus can’t yank numbers down.
  • For where he is, if he needs an increase, it’s better to do it in 0.25u increments. Typically, smaller dose adjustments are used to fine tune a dose.
You’re doing a great job of testing!

Yes, it was just a little and, as I said, everyone has done it at one time or another. I just wanted to be sure you knew I was looking at his SS ;);):p:p:p Not stalking, mind you...just looking!

Ugh, felt late, rushed and heated rice sock, woke Myagi and tested. Checked time for log and it's only +2. Darn it. He doesn't do anything by +2. Wasted test strip. o_O note to self, just cause you're exhausted, doesn't mean it's late. :)
