As long as its been in the fridge and has no floaters/weird things in it, the Lantus should be good for awhile. 28 days is just a suggested life for an unfrigerated vial/pen.BG@+4 103 I just don't want him to go into the 200's. It does look like it is his pattern. I feel safe leaving him for 5 days with no juice. Not that I won't worry! If he stays below 200 my vet said he is good to go off the juice, but I don't feel safe doing that. I would like to know if my bottle of Lantus will be okay after 28 days. It doesn't expire until next nov.
