Hi all and hope everyone is enjoying the holiday.

Will today patteren has no yellow but these up and down numbers are not good from very high to very low then high again.

@Marje and Gracie could you please give me your openion as today is the 6th cycle and this early drop to 55 is not ok but i am afraid that she will go high again at +6 as she did that this morning and yesterday.

She has never been in blue between PS for long time and i do not like thise numbers and the up and down, maybe i over dosed but could we put her on track again . I will continue posting the numbers but when i saw this 55 i just felt thst you might have a look. Hope she will rise with food, will keep monitoring.

What did you feed her yesterday morning when you got the 78 and today when you got the 55? If you gave her HC, it could be affecting her duration.

If she were my kitty, I’d do two things:

• hold the dose until she goes below 50 and then take her back to a drop; if you can manage to test and feed her as below, you can perhaps flatten her a bit so she can stay in green longer
• check her at +2 a.m. and p.m. because she’s dropping fast early and if you can feed her when she starts to drop, she might not go so low.

No i did not feed her HC only her normal LC food, but she always dropped at +2 and +3 ( specially at second cycle) this was her issues if you can see her older doses on the SS. I used to feed her before at +2 and +3 small meals to slow her dropping but not always worked so i used honey many times before, i think will go back to these days.

It was my mistake increasing the dose but as always i get scared when i saw this high numbers. I just get her regulated very well and now will start everything again because of my wrong decision.

Yesterday was definitely an inverted curve since she came back down by PMPS. However, again, we don’t get too wrapped up in an inverted curve here and there. We look at consistent trends.

I lost my boy when i did not notice that he has early signs of kidney failur which leads to heart clot later. I still feel very guilty and connot sleep sometimes thinking of how i missed that, the vet told me that these happened and it is not my mistake but i loved him very much and i still live with that pain, maybe that is why i am panicking when anything goes with my little girl, she is the only ine left for me now and i am so scared of losing her at any time.

I will try, her AMPS now 140

From your experience is that high after good regulation normal, what i mean if her pancreas start working why these numbers. It means to start every thing again and she will stuck with those high for a while again. It is the first time that happening to me.

I do not want to think of any medical issues or i will be scared again. Thought if the pancreas starts to work will not see these numbers again, that is what i do not understand.

Even on a drop when she looked well regulated, she got AMPS like these. She has more consistently had blue PS over green.

We don’t know yet if her pancreas is working enough on it’s own or she just doesn’t need a lot of insulin.

As long as she’s eating, playing, purring, pooping, peeing, bathing, and feels good, try not to worry.
