First off - Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all!

I was advised to ask about dosecreasing :) before I did. Martini has not had good numbers since I think? the depot from 2 units has totally worn off. With the 2 units she went down to low 40's and was staggering and not alert at all. 1.75 is not working, I am paranoid about her going too low as before again esp if I do not/am not able to catch low numbers.. Any suggestions out there on what I should do? I know Christmas is not a good time to ask for input, but I hope there will be some pros out there to at least reassure me that I must increase.
Thank you all in advance.
@Marje and Gracie ?

While the last greens may have been from the 2u depot, I'd still hold this dose for a few more cycles. Her numbers look like they are wobbling around a bit and she may be trying to head back down soon. Sometimes it takes more then 6 cycles from greens for them to get back to business. I'm not one to take a kitty right back up to a dose that had them staggering. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry, but I have a different thought about it all :confused::confused::confused:

I think it depends on where you want her to be.

When I look at her SS, today is the sixth cycle since the green so if she’s bouncing, she should come down today or tonight. If she doesn’t, if you want to follow TR, you’d take her back up to 2u in the morning. If you want to be more conservative, you can wait. Cats don’t settle into reductions so I see no need to wait it out if you are available to monitor her.

BTW, on 12/22 in the a.m. cycle, the 130 is green and should be blue.

Thank you Marje. I want her to be in blues and greens for sure, she usually does not bounce for this long. Gosh, I am torn - I don't want her in the low 40's again but I want her healthier also. The monitor is the tricky part certainly. And thanks too for the 12/22!

When you can feed the curve, it can be easier to hold them in blue and green longer. If you are home for several days, you might try it. I know it’s harder when you are on call.

Hugs and Merry Christmas.
