Hi guys,

Merry was 9.5(171) at AMPS this morning & last night at +3 before bed he was at 8.4(151) so he may have had a green during the night that I didn't catch. After going to emergency for the cat bite & my throbbing hand I didn't get up in the middle of the night to check him. But I'm home today so I can check his BG a few times & hopefully we'll see some greens!

I'm happy he didn't really bounce after I shot his greens for the first time the other day so I think we're finally making some progress :) Paws crossed!

Oh wow! I'm glad you were able to get it checked out and I hope they don't give you grief about Simon. It's important that you should be able to seek treatment for your own health without repercussions to your own cat!
 
Ouch! Cat bites hurt SO much! I hope you feel better soon!

Kind of hard to see the swelling on top, it's more swollen on my palm below my thumb. It's easier to see the swelling with my hands side by side but I can't take a photo like that, LOL! Simon is a big boy so he was able to bite a large area. There's only 3 puncture wounds but it's very deep & sore.

I know, I'm so worried about that. The health unit hasn't called yet.

OUCH!! Boy that does look painful!!

So glad you got right to the hospital.....cat bites are nothing to be trifled with. I've heard a lot of people who left them for a day or two and ended up having to be hospitalized on IV antibiotics to get it under control.

They'll probably contact you....but they should allow home quarantine as long as you can assure them you can do it

Merry is at 81 PMPS. I didn't expect that since he was blue at +10. When I shot green last time he was at 74 & I gave the full dose. So, it's ok to give the full dose this time too right? Makes me nervous but I'm equipped with everything & I'm home for the night.
 
Go Merry! I love seeing his progress recently! He's living up to his name and giving you a nice early Christmas gift! A green one! :D
 
Merry is 4.9(88) at +4. He's eating his bedtime snack now so hopefully he doesn't keep dropping.
For some reason the 88 on the US tab in the SS is black & I can't change it to green, not sure why.
