Amps 178, 0.25u, eating but much less, also he's being both normal and a little weird/ skittish. Meaning he's running under bed when I go to him but once i show him treats he comes out let's me pick him up and then acts normal.

Also I had to take cold medicine middle of night and slept through food pick up alarm so not sure if that 178 that I really wanted is a real number. Will be watching him to be sure. Paws crossed!

You don't want to feed higher carbs, later in the cycle, when the insulin has slowed down. You don't have enough data to say yet, but looks like Myagi might nadir earlier than +6. In that case, I might have gone with a higher LC. Glad you didn't go with the high carb. Just noticed he didn't eat, maybe he's done dropping. Good idea to test in 30.

Congrats on the reduction. :DLooks like you get to try practicing drawing up 0.1 units next.

I did do a teaspoon of 11% but had to put a couple zero crunchie on top. Love your pic! Dread trying to do that! Lol. This is so new for us I haven't found his nadir yet - earlier might be why.

All his regular food is less than 3 carbs. It's been suggested I switch him to like a 6 carb for regular eating. I've read here that all the under 10s have roughly the same impact. Suggestions?

He's not very happy right now. He knocked the fd chicken over and didn't dive in. He went to water bowl (almost never does anymore) and pawed it but didn't drink. I freshened his soup for him and he's drinking/ eating it now.

He's gone back under bed. Def not himself.

He's probably just feeling uncomfortable being in lower numbers than used to. The first few times Neko spent in green she hid under the bed. Someone described it like coffee (high blood sugar) - you feel crumby when you don't have your fix. He will get used to it over time. Looks like he's stopped dropping and is surfing now. :D

Anything under 10 is low carb. ECID on how carb sensitive a cat is - some notice difference between 3-4% nd 8-9%, some don't.

I get that. I'm a pot (coffee) a day gal, so I get that analogy.
I'm missing work for his shenanigans (grateful to be with him of course!) So hopefully he'll surf and let me get out later to get some mid carb and more hc food (and replace the fd chicken!). Should have stock in test strips!!!!:banghead::rolleyes:

+10 193

So does all mommy's hard work count as a curve or no because he hasnt been on the dose long enough?????

So likely yellow pmps, starts reduction anyway right?

Yes, start reduction right away.

You can call it a curve if you want, but not sure what the value is, other than gathering good data about onset and nadir (always valuable).

Pmps 165, 0.1u shot, eating ok. Was near impossible to get him out but seems fine, much better than earlier. Is the drop the depot? Thought he'd be higher.
