Thanks mary
The vet just said melonoma and they would monitor for any changes in color or sizeI don’t know the answer, did the vet diagnose the spot as a melanoma? I will tag @Bobbie And Bubba Her Cat had a cancer in his eye.
If the spot is on the iris, it sounds like what Bubba had and the first step was monitoring it for change in size and appearance ( if it get raised and velvety looking ) I hope that it stay a "freckle" and no treatment is necessary. The vet just said melonoma and they would monitor for any changes in color or size
The iris is the dark, middle, of eye?If the spot is on the iris, it sounds like what Bubba had and the first step was monitoring it for change in size and appearance ( if it get raised and velvety looking ) I hope that it stay a "freckle" and no treatment is necessary.
That's the pupil. The iris is the coloured part of the eye.The iris is the dark, middle, of eye?

.Okay, his spot was on his pupilIris is the colored part of the eye. The hole in the middle is the pupil.
The pupil is the open area in ide the eris. The iris changes diameter. If it is onthe puple than it is either on the cornea (outside surface) or the lens that is behind the cornea.Okay, his spot was on his pupil
He has a brown smudge like spot on the middle, black, part of eyeSo more like this photo?

How about calling the vet and asking for the diagnosis. If it is pupil involvement, I don't know what it could be.
