Well, TiTi must be snickering behind her paw. I thought we were leveling out, but not so. Hoping to see green soon today.

On a lighter note (though not for the victim) Bobby (civie) caught a mouse. and yes in the house. Been so cold that a Mousie decided to come inside.

But Mousie was misinformed, because inside this house live 14 kitties.
I tried to rescue Mousie, but Bobby gave me a wary look, picked up Mousie and carried s/he out of my bailiwick.

I went back to work, and emerged from my office 2 hours later, hoping Mousie was no longer with us, in one way or another. But I saw nothing of it. I asked Bobby, "What did you do with the mouse?" He just looked at me, much as a sphinx might. I do so hope Mousie isn't dead somewhere and getting ready to be stinky, or hiding wounded somewhere.

They do like to keep us guessing with their numbers. I hope TiTi comes back down soon. Oh no on the mouse.

It is the gecko's here with Gizmo. Many a times I have chased him down and pried his jaws apart to free the wee lizard only to have it run under a couch or chair. Never sure if they make it or not.

So far, today looks like a repeat of Thursday, which may mean tomorrow will be interesting. Or not. This is TiTi, after all.

I'm sure Bobby just wanted to make sure you knew he was on duty and keeping the place safe from marauding rodents. Or he was just showing off. Either way, I hope Mousie either met a quick end or escaped to freedom elsewhere.

He's a great big furry cat, looks like a Norwegian cat. Quite handsome. And he spent a few months of his first year surviving in the wilds. Someone pitched him out. I think he's a pretty competent mouser. But I fear he did not eat him, and Mousie's somewhere.

My aunt's cats, in AZ, used to put a paw on the little critter's tail to catch it, but somehow the tail would come off and the lizard would get away. Apparently, they can grow new ones. Not much nutritional value in lizards, so I hope Gizmo isn't filling up on them and eating less cat food!

Naw. It happens very infrequent now days. Seems that since we had new siding put on there isn't gaps for them to get in through. It is hilarious with the head out one side of his mouth and the tail out the other and both wiggling.

Ahahahah. Yes, lizards detach their tails and escape. Quite a remarkable trick.
