? Advice please, increased by mistake

For some reason i thought it was time for summer to be increased!! She was on 3.5 units 2 x daily and she was only on it for 2 days and i gave her 3.75 units this morning!! What do i do now? Do i just follow through and keep her on this dose per TR protocol? This is what happens when you are sleep deprived! lol Geez!! :eek::coffee:

P.S. Please take a look at her SS and let me know how summer is doing. Thank you. :)
 
Ack, sleep deprivation strikes again! :eek:

It will be OK. The main thing about increasing after two days rather than three is that the new depot won't have had time to completely settle and give you a sense of what the 3.5 dose could do for her. Looking at her spreadsheet, she's doing fine so far but it doesn't look like she's at the right dose yet, so I suspect she'd have been moving up to 3.75 soon anyway. You haven't had a sniff of green numbers, although she is starting to see more blue, which is nice! I'd say just wait and see how she does today, but if it were me I'd probably stick with the 3.75 going forward rather than going back down and continuing the churn on the depot.

Others may have a different take, and of course Summer gets a vote, too-- let's see how she does today!

Sleep deprivation will do that to you, at least you gave her a reasonable increase instead of an accidental huge dose. I agree, I think because you haven't found a workable dose just yet, it's probably not a big deal and makes more sense to continue on the new dose than to go up, down and up again. And yes, Summer will probably have a say in it as well. :cat:
