It's changing hair time so lots and lots of hair going around, which ends in fur balls, what do you do to help your cat with them, since most of the hair balls treatments have syrup in them.

And also that it does not contain a lot of phosphorus because of CKD

In my case just brushing is not enough there is simply too much hair Babu and 2 of my civies are specially hairy Hymalayans, Babu is not doing so bad but one of my civies is.

My kitty Leo is large with a lot of hair and has a horrible time with hair balls. I get him clipped underneath and down the back of his legs where his hair is longest and where he seems to do most of his grooming. I hate to clip his gorgeous white fur but it's better than him getting sick from too much hair. I actually had to take him to the ER last year due to him throwing up massive size fur balls for three days in a row. Pureed pumpkin also seems to get the hair to slide down and out. Otherwise I have to resort to CatLax when all else fails.
Some on here have recommended egg whites, and I believe you can buy powdered egg whites to help with fur balls. (hope I'm remembering that correctly)

Weruva makes pumpkin in pouches. I get it on amazon. It is the only thing that completely stopped my kitty’s hairballs. He use to throw up around 3 every week, now zero!

Oh!!! I wish I could get those pumpkin pouches here but is a good Idea I'll take a look at the ingredients and see what I can do

Regarding the egg I think is the egg yolks that help but with CKD those are not a good idea
