He spent all of the day at seaside and finally
at Lagoon.
Things are getting better for both us. Only minor problem is that late time checks...

He is doing well with this dose, but night time levels ; right now +6 and he is 75. I hope he is going to stay at high greens.

He wants that reduction sooner! Test again half an hour after the HC, to make sure he's coming up. While you are waiting, review the Handling Low Numbers Sticky Note. You want him above 50.

Another thing, when you want more immediate help, it's best to change the subject line on your first post, so other people can see you are dealing with low numbers.

Try a 1 unit reduction first, if it doesn't work, then next time you can try a 1/2 unit reduction. This is part of learning your cat and what works for Raffy. Good catch on that low tonight.

I saw your post after the AM Shot. I gave 16,5U. We ve started the day with 99. I think this is a result of 3/4 can of HC food . Anyway it is beter to be at the safe-side.

You can stick with 16.5 if you want. Just be aware that the depot from 17 units can impact six cycles after a reduction so he could still go lower today. Sometimes we'll take a one time lower dose to help drain the depot, before continuing with the new dose. If you find he's still going low today, you might want to try that tonight, maybe with a one time dose of 10 or something like that. People will do either a 50% or 2/3 dose, depending on what works for their cat. The added advantage might be more sleep tonight. I didn't do the one time large reduction much at first, cause at the beginning, Neko always bounced.
