Things are getting back to normal after an action packed weekend. Rose went to the vet to receive an enema. That worked so well she came home to get a bath. I'm just glad she feels better (and smells better)! It would have been great to get a bath on a nice sunny summer day. With her dark fur, we could sit outside in the sun and she would be dry in no time. However, with Chicago turning into a frozen tundra we had to settle for a space heater in the bathroom.
I'm still working on new issues identified in her recent BW. Started to use Epakatin as a p-binder.

it has sugar in it. Her BG numbers spiked up to over 400.

. I ordered some plain aluminum hydroxide powder today and will start that when I get it.
The next weapon in the arsenal for ongoing constipation is laculose, but it seems that also has some hidden lactose so another BG spike would be expected if I have to use it.
I will try not to panic.

Wasn't there something else the vet could have prescribed that didn't have sugar in it?
