Nothing new to report in the world of Miss China! She's still doing awesome and I'm super thrilled!!
Promised a picture of DM's birthday cake today if it came out as good as I hoped, and it did!! Tomorrow is her birthday and while the food at the Assisted Living place is really good, they can only afford so much. Mom's always loved steak, so I bought 4lbs of sirloin so everyone could have some. (it was on sale too!!) Baked potatoes with all the fixin's and chocolate cake and ice cream!! Can't ask for much better than that!!
Mom's a big fan of Word Search puzzles and can spend hours every day working them, so I couldn't think of a better cake than this!!
The words are Happy, Birthday, Mom, Miss, Kitty, Grandma, Love, Midge (what everyone calls her instead of her given name, RoseMarie) and Grams (was supposed to be games but I guess the cake decorator screwed up.....but it still works OK I guess)
