It seems, though, that you consistently feed the same LC food, in which case the food wouldn't cause the bounce up to higher numbers: it would be the deep drop, wouldn't it?

Hi Darrah, yes, I do definitely try and consistently feed the same LC food and at the same times, I have only had to use MC (or HC) when we went under 68. I do believe Maverick's bouncing is caused by the deep drops and/or hitting a super low number. But, I'm also lucky in that I think I see him tending to hit nadir between +4 and +6, I usually feel pretty comfortable with the LC food, since I can get him surfing. I really don't know if I'm doing things right lol but sometimes we just pick a routine and try and stick with it!

Interesting start to our morning, hope Maverick continues to stay nice and steady :). It's been wonderful being home, I can see what he is getting up to now in his earl-mid am cycles ;)

If he keeps bouncing from the lows (which I agree is the case) you might want to try a little mc to prevent him from going too low and keep him surfing a little higher. Feed the curve to prevent him hitting numbers he’s not used to yet. It helped my cat.

Thank you, Elise, now that I have more time, I will do that! I suspect I have missed some lows in the past, being away at work. I definitely want to try to be less reactive as well, I find it is when the lows come from what appears out of nowhere, I bring out the MC, but by then he's already hit that low.

I might have to squint really hard to see green...+5=106 , but not a bad turn around from yesterday (so far:rolleyes:)!
