Pmps +2 242, +4 246, +5,5 229 so stable tonight, but Levemir is most effective on between +7-9.
I ll make a last test before i go to bed but most probably he can reach to the seaside...

Good afternoon Wendy. Raffy is as usual :) , pinks, yellows, blues and a red as well.
You know we could not make Acro test and we are not sure he is Acro or not...
But all of his behaviors is like a Acro cat.
You are so experienced about it and i just want to know can we use Cabergoline just to see how will it effect? And is there any side effect of that?
 
Might be worth a question to the Royal Veterinary College to ask. I know there are some fairly minor side effects. You vet may have to get involved to write a prescription anyway.

Looks like time for another increase.

There is only one medicine in Turkey which is Dostinex 0,5mg. When i read details and side effects as you mention it does not look like so safe. Anyway , we ll go on with Levemir.
 
Goodevening... This morning i increase the dose 16U. AMPS was 425 :mad: but....details on Ss:smuggrin:
And right now we r at Lagoon.....
 
Our other kitty’s food is HC so incase of an emergency i ll use them, i made a check just a few minutes ago and 75 :cool: still coming down, right now we are at +6 from PM shot. Should i give some food right now or wait until below 50s?
 
Give some of his regular low carb food. Sometimes that will help them surf, or stay steady. Safe the high carb for below 50.
 
I gave him some HC and his regular food as well and right now (pmps +10,5) he is at 54. +8 was 65 after 2 spoons of HC food. So should give the same dose which is 16U if AMPS around 50-70s ?
 
Sorry I wasn't on earlier. It's best not to give food, especially HC in the last two hours before preshot. It cam take two hours for HC to wear off. Now his preshot is carb influenced and we don't know if it's safe to shoot. One option is to delay preshot by half an hour to see what the blood sugar is with the extra carbs gone.

My mistake, I meant AMPS. adhear to Wendy's thinking that his AMPS would be influenced by the HC you gave at 10.5. Keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't drop too low as the HC wears off and the insulin kicks in.

Lagoon is good, but you always need a life-guard with while he is surfing and swimming :cool:

How did amps go? SS is not updated with numbers, so was wondering how you were getting on?

Hello Gill; i was so busy that’s why i just updated SS.
He has started the day at Lagoon, then all day he was at seaside.
PMPS +3 was 218 :(
I hope he ll turn back to the beach in a shortwhile.

Gurkan, did you ever decide if you are following the TR protocol or the SLGS method for dosing? On the way up, it was more like TR, but we were encouraging you to increase faster to get on top of the resistance. Now you have to decide which dosing method you want to follow. With TR and using a human meter, he did not earn a reduction. According to SLGS, he did not.

Actually we follow TR protocol, (we never go slow)
On the protocols explanations, are these BG values according to a humen meter or AT?
And do we have to stay all day at Lagoon for reduction.?
 
Hi Gurkan , in reading Raffys SS, I'm a bit confused, are you using the ALpha Track yet or have you switched to a Hunan meter? Your SS numbers/colours are for the AT.

Goodmorning Ed, ı used use AT , but 2 mounths ago i had to switch ACCUCHECK; (could not get test stripes for AT)
This morning AMPS 88 :). Still at Lagoon at the
safe side.

No, it's not pizza night. Lol. He's down with the Sharks right now. Surfing in the low 60's. I think in Wendy's post she was saying a reduction is not earned with the human meter till 50. Your spread sheet starts the light greens at 68 and that's for the AT meter. I have the opposite issue. SS is for the human meter but we switched to the AT so I have to manually change the color from 68 down to 51.
 
Ed has it right, reductions are earned when Rafffy goes below 50 on a human meter. Or if he spends a week in green numbers. I have never seen a high dose cat do that.
 
AMPS 89 ,+2 121, +4 115.... he is going quite good . It is acceptable for me even with such a high dose:cat:
Maybe one day he would like to try a lower dose, who knows....

We ve spent 3 days at beach and Lagoon, but since yesterday evening Raffy is trying to go up his standarts.
Yesterday PmPs was 113 then just 6 hours later he was 368, then this morning AmPs 365, nadir
was 268, PMPs 276 and right now +5 319 :(
So is it the time for 0,5u increase?
We saw 50-60s with this dose, i don’t why we are again with 300s....
