Thank goodness we change the clocks tonight (although I really wish they'd just get rid of this bi-yearly time change).......kitties are not happy about mama trying to prepare their stomach alarms to go off an hour later!!

Been adding 15 minutes to meal times for the past several days so all China's shots have been "delayed", but we'll be back on our 6am/6pm shooting schedule in the morning.

Of course their stomachs will still say it's 7!!

Mornings haven't been as bad (since I can hide under the covers) but at dinner time, they're all giving me a hard time....I know you all know the "but mama, I'm starving to death here" look!!

Miss China's still doing great though, so once I get everyone's stomach alarms reprogrammed, I expect she'll continue to rock on......of course by the time that happens, it'll be time to change the clocks again!!

I think I'll send the civvies along with China to the Full Beaver Moon party tonight....maybe they will stuff themselves with all the good fuds and give their mama a break!!

See ya'll at the pawty!!!....can't believe mama's making me bring my brudder and sister :( Oh well, I'll just pretends I don't know 'em!! ~ LagoonMeisterin China

Yo LagoonMeisterin China,
I'm glad you were on duty today while I was mending the shark nets.
Now, let's PARTY! The Full Beaver Moon is rising and the Beaver are waiting to see us exotic kitties. We'll show them how we surf in L&LL!

We're doing the time change "cold turkey". If we can do it, Rusty can, too! Enjoy the weekend, Chris. How's your mom doing?

We're doing the time change "cold turkey".

I don't have any problem with the insulin being an hour late.....it's the stomachs that are driving me crazy!! I was hoping that maybe if I started a little early, I'd be ahead of the game a little

How's your mom doing?

She's doing well...has a couple of people who play cards with her every day which she really enjoys and she says everybody there is very nice.

I think I'm enjoying it even more though (feel a little guilty about that) but it was time for her to be under more supervision than I could give her. I admit I'm really liking just being a daughter again instead of a caretaker.

being the caretaker is so difficult... i'm glad she isn't upset and fighting you every moment.... that's what i got.

I always thought it was more the change of sunlight....
when it's dark earlier, the dogs think we've forgotten to feed them....
afterall, they think they are starving even the moment after they eat.

Nice numbers for China. I'm glad your mom is doing well. I hate the time change. I wish it would go away too.

Yeah I'm so happy that she really seems to have settled in well and says she's happy. They serve real food, family style (instead of "institutional" food on trays) and since she's only the 7th resident, she gets a lot of one on one attention. I think one of the main reasons she's doing so well is she got to keep Miss Kitty. She means the world to mom and getting to keep her really has made a world of difference in her accepting the move from independent living.

I never really realized how much the time change could affect our FD kitties! We're luck here in Arizona not to change our clocks! :cat: Good luck with the "food alarms" :nailbiting::nailbiting:

Well poop......was thinking maybe I'd get an early night tonight

Guess Miss China has other plans for me!!!

Oh well....I get an extra hour at 2am to live over again.....LOL

I know! I miss that. My dad always said they didn't change there because they didn't want to get up at 2:00 am to change all the clocks!:p

China, you look mahvelous, dahling! Love how you threw in that barely blue AMPS, just to keep mama guessing, then went out to mend the shark net tonight. Nothing boring about you, girl!

I'm so glad your DM is happy at her new place, Chris. That takes so much stress off of you!
