Good Afternoon, everyone,

Rusty had a "normal" AMPS this morning, and--hopefully--a good shot. We should know soon if he is going to have a better PMPS than he has had lately.

Wind, rain, chilly and unpleasant weather today. I'm busy reading about how to cook with my Instant Pot and sent for a couple of cookbooks.

Not much to report. Rusty had some good combings today and we were able to get off some of his fur clots without any complaints from him!

Wishing all a good weekend. TGIF. Don't forget about the time change back to standard time (those of us who are affected; we'll probably do it "cold turkey" again.

Mountain tops are covered with the white stuff. :eek: Yesterday's rain was "thick". :arghh: Perfect day for soup or stew or whatever the Instant Pot produces.

Almost time for the Beaver Moon.:cool:

Yup, the Beaver Moon is tomorrow. Chef Rusty is getting out his recipes. Maybe he'll try out the Instant Pot. Did you know that it is a Canadian product made in Vancouver? (or, at least shipped from there: it is, of course, made in China).

Our mountains have some snow, too. Have a good weekend, Wendy. Is your mom home now? Is rowing season still going?
 
Looks like Rusty decided to go back up again. I had hoped that his more normal numbers this morning would signal to a return to more normal cycles. After the time change I'm going to take his dose up a smidgen. He's eating much better now than he has in months, and the extra food may be influencing his bgs. I'm so happy that we found a food (RAWZ Chicken and RAWZ Turkey) that he likes.

Yo Kitties, Tomorrow night is the Full Beaver Moon and we'll party again with the Beavers on the Beaver River. Look for tomorrow's party condo tomorrow for details.

My mother went home on Halloween. :) My father was so happy, he hadn't been able to visit her at the hospital. It was a good day.

Maybe a last row tomorrow. Whitecaps from outflow wind cancelled today. DH is racing on Sunday in Seattle. It's gonna be freezing! You have to hang around the start forever after rowing up course.

I am going to have to check out that Instant Pot!
