Thanks everyone for your help. Muffin seems to be doing ok after last night. Felt like a close one for her which is scary. Another dose decrease.

Hi Julie,

That was a great catch by Dawn! I'm so glad she went with her instincts and tested! How was Muffin acting at that time - did Dawn notice anything unusual? I'm just wondering if it was a symptomatic hypo. Sometimes, after going that low, cats become extremely sensitive to insulin, so you'll need to watch her carefully for a while. Or she could bounce to the moon. She is a cat, after all!

One thing is for sure, Muffin really wanted less insulin! Guess all that wishing and hoping and praying for progress has finally paid off. Now if we could just get the same result in the search for a home...

She didn't seem to act much differently except she was laying on her side but she does that too. And when she goes low she doesn't want to eat her lc food.

Yeah, she's not used to swimming out past the shark net, for sure. Let's home she doesn't develop a taste for it. Stick to the shallow end of the lagoon, Muffin!
