10-24 Tiffany - What to do for constipation?

I have noticed that Tiff has not been pooping everyday and she seems uncomfortable tonight. (It could be a side affect from her medication, Cabergoline.) This has never been a problem for her. She still has a very healthy appetite. I have been mixing pumpkin in her food and she has been drinking George's Aloe Vera water. What else can I try?

Never mind....got it. Miralax 1/8 t. twice daily to start.

I am having great results with the AVJ. I am giving 1 1/2 teaspoon with AM & PM PS meals. How much are you giving?

Adding a little more water to the wet food can help too. I gradually added more and more water (and now some AVJ) and now the food looks like soup but Bronx still eats it all up.

Hope Tiff feels better. I just bought a jug. Thanks for posting link Lizzie. I've got a civvie that has reoccurring issues. Miralax alone is not cutting it so I'm going to add this to all the kitties wet food.

I use Lily of the Desert AVJ, basically since I already had it and use it for myself. If you do some research, there does seem to be some controversy about distilled (Georges) vs the others. Bronx does drink it (mixed with his wet food) no problem.
