OTJ Party Day!!

I told Darwin that he literally had nothing to prove, but apparently he wanted to give me a super low number this morning just to prove that he was over being poked every day. Weird!!

I'm super happy with all his labwork results! His send out BG was 77! Everything was well within normal range, and his triglycerides are MUCH better now that he has lost weight and is on a better diet - YAY! Next step is getting him in for a dental

Um...mom said she didn't need to poke me as much...but....she still is? What's up mom?

Amazing lab results! I'm glad you were able to get them done just for the added peace of mind. Will miss seeing Darwin's adorable here every day, but so glad you don't need to be on here all the time! Enjoy the reward, you both earned it!

For any kitties reading this condo while their beans aren't looking: 27 is not a number we want to see when you are getting insulin! It's only okay for those that have achieved the goal of going OTJ!!! Don't be inspired to tease the sharks, kitties!

@Fluffles, there you are! If you want an OTJ party like Darwin did yesterday, I highly recommend you post daily. I see you're already on Day 12! There's a member on here who looks for OTJ trials so she can request pictures to do the OTJ video.

Right?! It kind of freaked me out a bit. I wonder why he is SO low. He was 77 and 82 at the clinic which is lowish end of normal, but within normal limits at least. He's a weirdo!

Fluffles is following closely behind, yay!!!

Darwin started at almost 19 lbs, and is now just under 13lbs - he's lost just under 6 lbs total! He did lose almost three quite quickly prior to dx, but the remaining 3lbs have been steadily after switching the the canned only diet. I am hoping to get him back to the (roughly) 11 lbs he was when he was at his healthiest weight, but boy has it made a HUGE difference in everything about him!! My vet said it was an amazing difference!!

That's awesome! When I got Fluffles he was 3 years old and 24 lb, he's down to 18, but hoping to get to 15 or 16. Im going to show Fluffy Darwin's weight loss, he likes to follow his lead!! Loved his OTJ video, he's such a handsome boy!

Wow - Fluffles was a BIG boy - great job getting him down! It's not easy work! The canned food made a big difference for Darwin, and I am going to be even stricter now, and get some more weight off as he has pretty much leveled out now. Thank you!!
