I thought it was safe to sleep through the night but I think she went lower than anticipated and we got a bounce this morning...sigh:(
I'm trying to get to a place where I don't need to test THAT much but maybe now is not that time and she may still be dropping the dose ladder. I'll be out most of the morning but will be back early afternoon. Hopefully she clears this bounce quickly. Her right eye was very gooey this morning. I can hear wheezing but she didn't cough. Ah the highs and lows of FD. Yesterday was such a good day.

Sometimes it is hard to know if we need to keep testing. I hope Beenie slides back down slowly today and surfs safely. Sending prayers for her eye.

I should've set the alarm. I based my decision on the night before. She was 132 at +4 and she came down and surfed safely. She was 130 last night and I thought she would do the same. Well at least I know her body will dump glucose if she needs it. :blackeye:

I agree with Judy that it might just be where she's at this morning, and not a bounce from a low. Typically your +4's have been a pretty consistent tell. If she's gone down or flat around +4, she's gone lower later in the cycle. If she's high at +4, she's stayed flatter. Since your +4 last night was higher than the PS, she more likely just surfed in blue numbers and then rose at the end. There are a exceptions to that pattern of course. She is a cat after all. ;):cat: :p So you can't really bet the farm on any pattern with a cat, but it does show up often enough to be a little bit helpful.
 
Healing vines for goop and wheezes. Her numbers don't look so bad, and you needed the sleep. I have the feeling you're going to have more chances soon to be up with her in the night.:rolleyes::smuggrin:

Thank you. See I needed more eyes on her SS. I felt like I let her down by not getting up.

It becomes such a habit, this testing :rolleyes:, and we second guess when we can't see the number. You needed so good catch up sleep after the weekend's excitement, hope Beenie has a nice little safe cycle tonight...Mav started the BBQ, if Beenie's up for some hotdogs, come on over :)
