Hi everyone,
We got home from my grandnephew's wedding after midnight. We all had a grand time and that whole branch of our family was there. So good to see everyone all in one place. Rusty was overjoyed to see us. I think he thought we had abandoned him, even though we left food for him and told him we'd be home late. He was asleep on the little bed I keep for him on the floor of my study. He never spends much time in this bed. I had to wake him up, and then he meowed like crazy and couldn't wait to come to bed with us: snuggled right down into his little green pillow.
We spent the day recovering from the wedding (ears ringing from the music!) and waiting for the hurricane. We are supposed to feel the effects of the hurricane all day tomorrow. Bummer, because our traditional end-of-season paddle/picnic on the Bog River Flow has been moved indoors. But we'll certainly get to the Bog later in the fall. "End of season" doesn't mean end of paddling!
Rusty's AMPS reflects his "fur shot" of yesterday evening. It's pretty clear that he's not going to go OTJ, despite his teeny, tiny dose.

Good job, Rusty!
