Sorry no one got back to you in time, I am on the west coast and life has gotten "complicated". I would reduce. The 16 unit depot might still be in play, but better safe than sorry. If you skipped this AM that'll help reduce the depot. Or if you cN still shoot and be on schedule, a reduced one time dose is OK to reduce the depot, if you can monitor today.

Little nag note: I see no tests last night. With cabergoline in the picture, once again I strongly recommend a second test each and every cycle. If that is!'t possible, less us know. It may change what I suggest for reductions.

Sorry no one was around to help earlier.

Did you end up skipping?? or did you reduce?
Sorry, Wendy. Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it was early here on the west coast! I reduced her to 14u to be on the safe side. We will monitor her closely. She has a vet appointment this morning.

We are testing before bed and have gotten two middle of the night tests the past two nights...one was just added this morning. Is that right?

Hi there,
We are at the vet and my vet was saying that maybe we should not have given Tiff the dose this morning, but she is in uncharted territory with the Cabergoline. (Just tested at noon and she is 121, so I think we are okay)

Moving forward, I need some extra coaching. How should we move forward with reducing- what are some basic guidelines? @Wendy&Neko @Marvin's Mom - Nat @Bronx's dad

My vet is super happy and totally open to your coaching given the success with Marvin. I think this board has been a HUGE help to us and she sees that as well!

Thank you, everyone!

Thank you!!! Getting nervous. Keep your paws crossed we handle the reductions right!
I know it's scary, but it is what is best for Tiffany. Just test often and have HC food and honey to bring her up if needed and she will be fine. :bighug:

Now, I just wish Gizmo would get on the ball also. He's been surfing pinks lately. :(

I just glanced at Tiffy's SS, and it is looking a bit like Marvin. I would continue to reduce slowly when she earns a reduction. I was on SLGS so reduce when she gets a BG under 90. Be prepared to test and monitor more.... if she does progress as Marvin, you will need to get used to lack of sleep, as I was always scared he would dive overnight especially when his BG at bed time was low. For me BCD were good, and I did skip when I really really was not comfortable to shoot. I found that once the cabergoline really started to work the reducies were constant... so it went really fast. Paw crossed, and hugs for Tiffy

You may already be doing this, but once Marvin started have blue and green numbers from the cabergoline I started feeding more often. I left food out overnight, and would also feed at around plus 9 a small meal of course..... I found that also helped.....
