Hi guys,
i will be out of town 10/1 - 10/8, and will have limited access to the internet.
i have hired someone (her name is Ashley, she is a vet tech, referred by one of my vets) to come to feed and do insulin for Belle (and his sister + the chinchillas)
here is her profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ashleydipretevts/

first, Ashley has no idea how to do this forum post thing, and no idea about the spreadsheet either, she asked me about it, but she seems confused. so i am wondering if i could ask her to email you guys the BG reading and have you help me post to the forum on his daily progress. And the xls as well, to my understanding, @Marje and Gracie has access to my xls for updating, i could grant access to others if i could have your email address.

@Tricia Cinco(GA) & Harvey, thanks for your offer, I really appreciated it. Since you are the closest in my area (and in the same time zone), I wonder if you could be an emergency contact if she have questions, and in the case if she ever needed any assistance.

she plans on coming over before work and after work (this is what she said: "I am scheduled to work Mon - Thursday from 8am - 6:30pm. Generally I do not leave work anytime before 8pm.")

I can try to help with posting, but since I'm on the east coast the time difference may be an issue. If there is not anyone closer to your time zone, I'll do what I can.

Sending you a PM, Helena.

Be sure you have Ashley shoot a lower dose than you are shooting, since she won't be testing during the day. Is she willing to come by on her day off and maybe grab a mid-day test?

Since you shoot later than 8 & 8 how are you planning to get to that point? Are you going to skip a shot or walk the time back?

Normally, I would be more than happy to post for you but I will also be out of town. Most of the time, when I've seen people go out of town, they just have the petsitter keep a notebook of the tests and BGs and then they post it when they get home. It's up to you, though.

Have a wonderful trip!!!!
