Well, I may have been wrong yesterday about Fearless bouncing to pink
http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...2-3-5-158-6-142-pmps-265.184241/#post-2045363

but last night he didn't surprise me. After dropping into the 50s (and maybe lower), he DID bounce into the 300s before bedtime and woke the same way.

My question is this: Since I had to give him gravy to keep him above 50 yesterday, and he's been spending more time in the green on 1u lately, does anyone think I should reduce to .75u after he clears the current bounce?

I would wait until he earns the reduction. If he really wanted it the gravy may not have stopped him. IMO it was the larger drop that contributed to the larger bounce rather then the greens he saw. I really like the +2 test on Lantus...this way you can slow him down with some LC food if needed and maybe help flatten him out. Sometimes they bounce higher and harder from larger drops. Green time is healing time but you do hold the syringe so ultimately up to you.

He gets LC @ PS, +1, +2, +3. Does not affect him like HC does. So if a +2 had been high green or higher I probably wouldn't have given anything to supplement his regular meal anyway.

@DebG she has switched to a Relion meter.

I agree with Karen, hold the dose until he tells you by going under 50. It may not be long now, and in the meantime he is seeing some lovely healing green. Nice to see yellow and him coming down.
