True! I know my peace of mind has increased (except during shark swimming incidents) many fold since I started doing home testing. I feel some control at least at having data to look at to explain what's going on. And immensely good, as well, knowing the numbers so I know she's safe when I shoot.

The biggest takeaway from this study is that the home-monitored cats went into remission at a rate significantly greater than those that were unmonitored. That, by itself, should be enough for vets to recommend (or at least consider) home testing.

Interesting that they never mentioned if any cats in the non-testing group had hypo events....
