9.20 Murphy amps 221 decreasing budesonide

Still looking for a non coconut oil canna that I can get in Chicago - you Californians are lucky to be able to get what appears to be the best brand

My vet is back from vacation and we are seeing what 0.5 mg budesonide does for Murphy - I'm anxious to see if the decreased dose will bring down his blood sugars

Fingers crossed that the decreased dose will still do the trick and bring Murphy back down into some better numbers again.

Good luck with the budesonide reduction. Neko went from 1 mg to 0.75 mg with no noticeable changes in her numbers. Her IM vet thought the suggested 1 mg most start with was too high a dose for cats.

Looks like he's ditched the pinks on this dose (antijinx).

Does it need to be an oil? Gizmo doesn't like the oil I got but he has no issues with the capsules. I either pill it or sprinkle/mix with his food.

Thanks, Carla, and Christina. Wendy, that's interesting your IM vet thought that about 1.0 mg budesonide. We're going straight to a 0.5 reduction - now I'm worried decreasing by 50% is too much - we'll see

@LizzieInTexas -I didn't realize you could get capsules. who makes them?
