Uncle's passing broke my heart, I cried buckets last night.Maybe Squallie was mourning Uncle last night - in any case, glad he's back to normal, Lucy
Yes, that was a blow to all of us. Keeping Barbara in my thoughts and prayers.Uncle's passing broke my heart, I cried buckets last night.

I went to shoot Gordy back in the beginning and we had these really long u40 needles for his insulin. I did the tent and he howled, so i just shot in the scruff. Later I looked ovet his leg and saw he had a big bruise under his fur =( i felt SO BAD. He got over it.I did that once in a while with Neko too. She got over it quickly. You and Squallie should be OK. Sometimes a muscle shot seems to onset a bit earlier. Sending vines.![]()

Thanks, Wendy. I'll test a little earlier tonight to make sure he's okay.I did that once in a while with Neko too. She got over it quickly. You and Squallie should be OK. Sometimes a muscle shot seems to onset a bit earlier. Sending vines.
I cried buckets about Uncle too. All that Barbara had to go through was a little too familiar and fresh.Sending comfort her way.
Thanks, Cassie, I'll test him a little later in the cycle, too, lol. Squallie usually won't tolerate shooting him anywhere but in the scruff, so I try to shoot to the sides a bit so it's not always in the same place; guess I got too far to the side for him this time. I just don't want to cause him any injury!I went to shoot Gordy back in the beginning and we had these really long u40 needles for his insulin. And for G, muscle shots tend to give me very late nadirs. So i guess it depends on the cat.
Poor Squallie! Hopefully he forgets it soon!![]()
Thanks, Sina.Hope Squallie feeling better today, Lucy.![]()

Thanks, Tricia.Yes, that was a blow to all of us. Keeping Barbara in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm glad Squallie is over whatever it was. Sometimes we have an off day, so no surprise if our kitties do, too. Just so it's only a day!
I guess it's kind of been an off day for Squallie and me all day.
Thanks, Barbara, for checking in on us. I think I must have gotten him in the muscle because he's never had a reaction like that before.I hope you and Squallie have a good night. I'll be checking in to make sure he's feeling better, you too.
I accidentally got Uncle a couple of times in the muscle (I think) because he flinched and whipped around to look at me. I guess it's bound to happen from time to time.![]()

Well then, I'd have to say you have a really good track record. My Dad had a painted rock (it was the 70's) that said "nothing are perfect".Thanks, Barbara, for checking in on us. I think I must have gotten him in the muscle because he's never had a reaction like that before.
