Good evening L & L ~

Gone most of the day today to have lunch with a friend and then lots of errands. I had care for Mom today so a full day for me.

Luckily, Bubba came and woke me up again after I went BTB after AMPS t/f/s, to let me know he upchucked his breakfast a couple hours after he ate it........ Incredible that he does that. Two days in a row now. He jumps up on top of me and starts biting my pajamas. If I don't respond, he starts on my ears. I knew to go down into the basement and look. Sure enough.........

Put a call into the vets to get Drontal and finally I was able to pick it up tonight and now I have to get it into him and Forrest. Fingers crossed.

He's is giving me all green cycles and I am hoping that after the Drontal kills the worms, he will feel even better and I can start bringing him down the dosing ladder yet again :cat:

Vines to all Beans and Kitties in need.

Nice numbers :D

Started Gizmo on the aloe last night. 1/2 teaspoon in with his MMR slurry (AM/PM). No issues!

Good luck with the dewormer. Any adverse side affects? So nice for him to let you know that he needs to be re-fed. LOL.

Sorry to hear about the second pukus, hopefully the Drontal helps! Good BGs though!

When I had my CKD kitty Snickers, she used to sleep on a kitty mat we put on DH's pillow each morning after making the bed. One morning I was sitting at our computer and she came out and stared at me. Once she got my attention she turned and walked back towards the bedroom. She had to do that 3 times before I gave in and followed her. She jumped up on the bed, walked over to her mat on DH's pillow, and then looked at me. She had puked on her mat and obviously wanted me to take care of it.
They do have ways of telling us stuff; we just have to listen :D

It's pretty incredible that when we are tuned in they can communicate with us.

Paws crossed the Drontal works for worm boy. o_O Back when I worked part time at the shelter, I found a few wiggling tape segments on a cat and as a result we had to deworm the entire crew. All but two took it in a pill pocket. Of course the kitty that was to become my civie Theo was one who didn't.

Nice to know that you are known as the cleaner of things. :cat:

Oh course she wouldn't take it! I had to resort to syringing it into both boys after they both only ate 1/2 of the tbsp. of baby food with it in it..... what mess.

Feel better Bubba!!:bighug:

Sorry didn't have a chance to read your whole thread today - does puking mean there might be a worm problem?

Girlie actually did pukas on the hardwood floor (no rugs in this house, but there's always the bed...) this morning - not sure why. She didn't eat it, though. Honestly, Bubba!

So, an hour and 10 mins after I got the Drontal into Bubba he puked up some liquid and I saw his dinner and a huge hairball ! Can I assume the Drontal got into his system ? Think I heard before 20 mins for meds before they upchuck. Sigh.

@Susan G & Jimmy G how long dies it take for the egg yolk to help? We aren't quite up to 1/4 tsp twice a day yet.

It doesn't always mean worms. The only way I knew Bubba has tapeworms was he threw up a 6 inch one on Sunday morning.

You may want to hold off until done with that medicine. Introducing egg yolk may encourage to stir things up..think detox. Marley had one or two hairballs after a few days starting the EY - after that nothing since.
