Hi <3
I saw the free board is not really getting looks and I appreciate everyone here on the Lantus board so very much for all your help with Fergus.
If there is anyone local, or heck even not local but willing to pay for a cold shipping option, I have four lantus solostar pens that expire 12/17. Even if Fergus relapses, we could not go through 400 Units before December. My vet also told me that if properly kept and not opened she would use the insulin for up to 6 months past date. Wiping the top each time with alcohol and using a clean needle each time. We used a pen needle for a bit and wiping prior and after and using a new needle is okay with them too. That is totally up to you.
I got these from a dear friend. They were on a cold pack straight outta his fridge and into mine so no temp exposure. I also have 60 Reli-On Insulin syringes 3/10mlcc 31 gauge 8 mm or 5/16" long (short needle) and BD ultra fine pen needles for those who use those. 12.7mm (1/2") long 29G the box says 100 count there may be 75 or more in there.
I want to give this away to someone free. I remember how sick to my stomach I was trying to find a way to buy insulin for Fergus. I want someone to not have to feel that way. I also think the high dose kitties may benefit from this. I cannot imagine the cost. We are still recovering from Fergus's illness financially, so I know how hard this can be and want to help. I couldn't ask for anything other than the healthy cat I have today.
I so want to help all the kitties here on the board. Fergus and I were blessed with your help and I think of how fortunate we are daily. I just want to make it easier for someone.
