How is her weight? Do you feel any difference in her body composition? How about her appy and LB contributions? I am glad she is seeking you out instead of hiding.

Did you give up on the idea of a reducie? With you not able to test most nights and getting down to the 60's a few days ago, I'd be inclined to take a 0.5 unit reduction.

Her weight is consistent but her body composition feels different, Her hip bones are more prominent. And there's less muscle tone.
Her appy is superb, and her litterbox shows consistent poo, but I think more urine than usual.

She's been in a range of 69-lowest green, to higher greens topping at 99. My testing is slender because strips are pricey, and I have not yet landed a new job.
But the days when I've stepped up the testing it looks pretty safe. The last more frequent testing that I did, for example, was on 8/26/2027 thru 8/28.
So, I'm not sure about a reduction - are you concerned that I might be missing dangerous lows?

I don't know, hard to say what Titi is doing overnight with only spot tests. I just worry because insulin needs can and do change over time. I tend to be conservative on dose if I can't see what is happening.
 
Looks like Titi wants a bit more attention tonight. :D

BTW, you coloured that 70 blue instead of green on the SS.

Yup and she'll get it. I have honey on hand if the food doesn't control it enough . At this point hourly testing seems wise.

Blue? I did? Sheesh. Sometimes I'm hopeless.

Can't put a time on such things. Glad you're progressing though. How are the civvies?

You've been through so much lately, and I know how special TiTi is to you. You know her so well, you feel each change. Try not to borrow trouble. Sometimes it's best to just live for today.

I'm glad you came through Harvey okay (LOVE the name, HATE what he did). My nephew lives in Austin and says he got a lot of rain, but not enough to make his pool overflow, so I guess it wasn't too bad.

You're right about borrowing trouble. The changes I'm noticing might only be minute and transitory. I know she had a fever last week. Her ears were very hot and she was lagging a bit, but she's now recovered.
When she was a tiny kitten she lived in the guest bedroom with her step mom and 4 step bros and sises. Every time I opened the door , she ran to me meowing vigorously, demanding FOOD! Clean the Litter Pet me.
I always chuckled and then fulfilled her requests.
None of the others meowed like this, so I figured that TiTI was the designated Union Rep'. I should have named her Norman Rae.

Awww thank you..didn't feel particularly heroic but thank you:bighug::bighug::bighug:frazzled, sleep deprived, caffeine filled, and totally befuddled more like it..all the hallmarks of a member of the Sugar Dance club! ;) I couldn't have even taken step one had I not had all of you guys! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
And your sense of humor always gave me joy....
The true heroes are the Beans and Kits who are still dancing, that to me is heroic! ..hugs to you!
