Hope he sees green this cycle.

I will post a few pictures a little later on of the creek from the main road. We were able to get out of the subdivision a different way yesterday so go some from a different vantage point.

Have a great day all!

My normal rise/shine time is 3:30a - when I am going to work. I grab a +11 then shower, get ready for work and get his feeder ready and test/feed/shoot @ 4:30a and then grab a +2 at 6:30a on my way out the door! But yes, what ever time you want to call it - it does come early!!:smuggrin:

Good morning , Lizzie :). Your morning routine is daunting ! You are one super momma bean :) Glad things are slowly getting better in Texas ...continuing prayers :)

You are an early bird!!! Hope Gizmo heads to the lagoon today:D

I have no idea what is going on with his numbers. I have given pain meds, nausea meds and 1/2 cap of Canna. I sure hope this isn't the start of a panc flare.:banghead:

History:
AMPS=188, +2=126, +4=128, +6=159, +8=172, +9.5=154, +11=185

Any input on these numbers? I just don't understand why all of a sudden he quit hitting greens. Just very strange. No food changes (normal rotation food that he has had greens on). No med/sup changes or additions. The only thing is the Adequan maintenance shot 5 cycles ago (this is the 5th cycle since shot) - and 4 cycles since greens.

How does he seem? Eating good? All the 5 P's in place? He did just give you the 70 on the PM cycle of the 29th which is the lowest for him in a bit. Maybe a mini bounce? Any chance he is picking up on the stress of being in the Harvey's wrath? I know every time I see the news coverage I start crying........

Hard to say. He did snap at me this morning and that was when I started wondering if he was in a bit of pain (pain meds, nausea meds and Canna given this morning). But then he got up on the computer desk and was head bumping and purring so IDK. No change in eating (great - CBC kitty). All "P"'s in place (though he doesn't play much). No change in the LB - in fact he had a nice poo overnight and I was hoping that would do it - lol. One of the reasons I did the curve today was because I wondered if his nadir had changed and he was dropping lower than I thought - but nope.

Just very strange to me. It is like he hits a brick wall at +2.

Must be something in the air as Bubba growled and hissed at me this AM testing him and every time I want to test him today, he runs from me. :banghead:

Glad to hear you got out for a bit. Must be a bit of cabin fever going on. :bighug: Bummer on the vet being closed.

I would hold the dose. He got down to at least 70, maybe lower a couple nights ago. Give him a bit more time, just in case this is a bounce..

Lizzie, I forget, do you use calipers?
Yes. I do.

I will give it till Saturday AM. (This cycle +2 more). I am off all next week on vacation so I will be home to monitor. I just don't want to lose ground. If I do have to go up to you think a full 0.25U increase? My gut says it has something to do with the Adequan but that doesn't make any sense because he was getting good numbers on the build up dosing so IDK but it is the only known change. :banghead:

Thanks for your input.

Yeah for the lowest +2 I don't know anything about Adequan. Sorry. Looks like he is going in the right direction. My gut says a mini bounce from the 70 the other night and he is clearing it.

Everyone has cabin fever. It really messes with your head. Back to work for a day (tomorrow) and then off for a week.

I am so upset about my vets. I am going to see if I can email Liz (Office manager/lead vet tech) and see if there is anything I can do. Since I will be home I can do tons of laundry and I imagine they will have a lot of it. Or maybe try and find blankets and towels to just replace what they lost. They had full lab and operating rooms, isolation rooms - they just built the facility about two years ago so it was top of the line.
