Monday's Condo

Yesterday was pretty calm so ended up not making a condo. Today though Zeke means business. He has been steadily dropping through the night and ended with a ps of 79. Testing at +1 to see if I will need to steer or not and will probably be testing hourly for a few to make sure he is good.

Zeke doesn't think his beans need sleep lol. With the way he steadily dropped through the nite, was up late. Then of course hubby woke me when he seen what his +11 was this morning. I am running on 2 hours sleep lol.

I hear ya!! Sleep is overrated or at least that what I keep telling myself to get through the day:p

He gets 2 small meals at shot time, the rest of the time he is free fed. Zeke tends to love the drama and being so soon into the new dose, not sure if we are just gonna go wonky or what today. :(
 
Damn, I know these are the numbers we want him to have, but I am still nervous. Rarely does he just surf, he likes his drama. He obviously is feeling great right now. He is playing with his newest favorite toy, one of the red noses that Walgreens sales for their red nose day lol. He plays soccer with it in my bedroom because of the hardwood flooring lol.

The problem is that every other time he has gotten greens, he either drops or shoots up. This is the first time he has actually held numbers like this for this length of time. I want him to be able to stay at this dose for a bit.

I just looked closer at the SS and it looks like the last 2 times he went lime green were when he broke a bounce. It looks like he tends to bounce when he sees a green so that's why I hesitate to say to feed MC because you don't want his numbers to be even higher if he bounces. How long before the +3?

We have him on the way back up and gave him some more HC. After I pick my dad up at his truck will come and get a test before we go eat lunch to make sure he is continuing to go up.
 
Was able to stop back by the house and do a +4.5 before we went to lunch to make sure he was still raising. He is now bouncing as usual. Hopefully he won't bounce as much this time since he spent more time in greens then he normally does.

Hey Linda, yep he had some great numbers and that was the longest he held them that way so maybe we are finally getting somewhere with this bouncy guy!

If you have looked at Zeke's SS, you would know that there is no rhyme or reason to his bounces. :smuggrin:

Rofl, He has had experienced people here on the boards scratching their heads. :smuggrin: He goes anywhere from a cycle to 6 cycles on a bounce. And we stay with a pretty strict routine, especially now that I am not afraid to shoot below 100.
 
His PMPS was 285 so he is over his rising. Will test again at +2 and see where we are going tonight. Hopefully a calmer night so we can get some sleep lol. After over 12 hours of continuous dropping, his beans are tired!
 
Hmm, his +2 is pretty much same as last night. Going to have my daughter test every 2 hours until +8 then hubby will get a +11 when he gets up. That way I can get me some sleep. I think our Mr. Fuzzybutt is on a mission! Of course that will be after my caramel apple nightcap that my DH just fixed me! Will help me sleep even better. :smuggrin:

I didn't see a condo for today so I'm replying in this one.

I noticed that every time he went low, his numbers were dropping during the cycle and then went low the next cycle. If I notice his numbers are dropping from AMPS to PMPS or vice versa, then I would watch the next cycle to see if he comes back up. Otherwise, he goes lime green. :D
 
Here is the problem with that, he has only went lime 2 cycles, but he has bounced every time there has been a green which has been more then twice. And that really doesn't say anything about how long his bounce lasts either. Your kitty wasn't a bouncer. Zeke has been almost always on a bounce it seems. As Linda stated, Zeke has his own agenda and he likes lots of different colors.
