Hi, I was wondering if anybody can give us a practical idea on how to shot sensible numbers (for example 0.1u/0.25u) with a normal syringe. Right now we do an eye check to shot 1.25u but I'm aware that can be between 1.1 and 1.4 every time, my eyes are not getting younger.....thank you.

Here are techniques used by people here:

1. buy some cheap magnifying readers in a power greater than you need
2. use calipers to reproduce the same dose once you've measured it as well as you can on a syringe
3. draw up a reference dose in coloured water in a used syringe and match every new dose to it

Consistency is more important than absolute accuracy. Practice makes perfect!

add light....
try to draw under a bright light or over a bright light.....
we forget that part as we age....

i actually had a head lamp and a pair of jeweler's magnifyer glasses with directed lights....
