Pumpkin has been having softer stools, maybe pudding-ish, followed by runnies. Seems to have increased with the increase in insulin. Her numbers are still high. Any suggestions?

Have you changed food recently? That is more likely to cause diarrhea.

This is 7 days on this dose. If you doing SLGS it is time for a curve and probably an increase.

Thank you Bronx's dad, I'll check for ketones. Wendy&Neko, I haven't changed her food, still with FF. Maybe it's related to her high numbers. I'll do a curve tomorrow. Thanks!

I use pumpkin in my boys food twice a day. 1/2 tsp . It helps with diarrhea and constipation. But, like Wendy said, be sure it is not pumpkin pie filling. It needs to be 100 % pure pumpkin in the ingredients and nothing more.

We're not too keen on the ingredients in Fortiflora. However, we do use pumpkin for our older dog. I don't know why I didn't think about using it for the cats. :) Thanks!

What are the ingredients that concern you? I would be interested in knowing as of lately, the only way I can get Bubba to eat his meals that have his supplements in them is by sprinkling some flortiFlora on top.

The animal digest, a mystery term I'm not keen with. Too broad of an area that could cover a lot of ground. I'm sure it's helped a lot who's used it, it's just something I wouldn't feel comfortable using.
