The stinker woke me up at 4:45 this morning wanting to eat - he hits me with his paw unrelentingly until I get up - I tried to ignore it, but after 30 minutes got up to test, feed and shoot. As usual, he eats about 3 -4 bites of food and is satisfied. :arghh::arghh:

But the good news is that he ate -(although not much) and his tail is up

I may be asking about a dose for tomorrow morning - not sure what what time his ultrasound will be (a feline ultrasonographer will travel to my vet's office) but he will definitely be NPO starting late tonight

Have a great day, every one (and kitties)

NPO= nothing per Os (mouth) medical term for fasting

thanks for input regarding the dose, Karen I will be hard to know what to do about the dsoe if his blood sugars remain sky high today (in the pinks) I'll be nervous to give the BCS but we'll see
I hope I get some answers to - hope all is well with you

I'm thrilled he is eating:cat::bighug:
Hope the ultrasound gives you the info your looking for;):bighug::bighug::bighug:

Depending on when shot time, nadir, and food cutoff time is, I have given Neko full dose the night before, which MC as a bed time snack if she was skirting low. I usually played the morning dose by ear - depending what sort of numbers I was getting. Will the vet's office even give you a range of times for the U/S? Usually the travelling vets should have some sort of schedule (AM/PM) by now for tomorrow.

Best of luck with the U/S tomorrow.
